There has never been a thing called prestige in wow. Since launch people have paid real money or gold to carry people and even run their account through something.
Mage towers, people paid gold and real money for others to take control of their accounts and do them.
Today I can go online and pay gold to get every current pvp title, raid mounts and achievements, and M+.
Blizzard, stop with the prestige argument for everything it doesn’t exist. Every time you take something out the game or limit it like with the Remix mage tower, mists dungeon runs, and the new transmog changes all you do is give people a reason not to play.
The mount in mists was not available, the one in legion is, this alone says that you are full of it.

RMT or in this case “piloting” has been penalised before with the removal of rewards/titles after the season is over or penalties during, cutting them off permanently from getting them. Ever.

If you catch them… And this doesn’t change the fact I can currently by anything I want today or in the past.
Yes yes you can do anything illegally you want at the risk of permanently losing your account and losing it all.

Can’t help but think of that player in the race to world first…six month ban for piloting but suddenly unbanned when it’s time for the race.

Just to be clear : this “prestige” wouldn’t exist even if there was no cheating or buying achievements mogs and mounts.
The prestige is only in the head of those who believe that their success in wow means anything to anyone.
The reason Bliz is keeping the mage tower appearances off Lemix is only because the “prestige” in the head of those who have the mage tower appearances is so big that they would lose customers if they allowed other people to get them now.
Just because some people cheat it doesnt mean there is no prestige attached to anything.

Any player can buy anything with gold right now and its not illegal. So tell me where is the prestige?

Yes. But boosted folks are easy to spot both in PvP and in PvE, and you can’t “pay off” the brand of shame.
Thats not the point, the point is there is no prestige, as anyone can get anything with gold.
Hey, just because you don’t find something Prestigious, doesn’t mean someone else doesn’t.
Personally, I enjoy earning rewards which have a challenge attached to obtaining them.
I couldn’t care less about someone else paying gold or money to get it, when I know I had to work for it. Thats why I enjoy it, because I needed to work for it.
The cosmetics you never see me use are the ones I went back and overpowered the content for.
Prestige does exist. And people pay real money so that they can come to these forums belittling others daring to phrase their opinions without being AotC or 3K Rio. And very often that actually works!
