Pretty sad ret got pre-gutted

I’ll not mention the poor performance damage wise, as there are many critical bugs affecting that right now.

However, any reason that the Illumine hero talent (50% slow) had to instantly get nerfed to a 30% slow on release??

Many classes got insane mobility abilities in hero talents. Look at DKs. Not to mention they have a 70% slow and grips as well. Many classes also got new roots and so on.

In this environment, why exactly is it such a problem to give ret a 50% slow which does not rely on people standing in consecration?

Cos palas have other strengths. Diversity is a must, or lets just make all the same?
I wont start listing what palas has and others dont.

it’s ok no one likes you since DF S1

Do paladin even need a slow when you can do full rotation at 20 or 25 yards

nailed it!

Considering things like pres evokers and mages have unlimited amounts of mobility, I’d say yes, they do. :dracthyr_shrug:

yet another slow? feels like every spec has at least two slows and two roots and a form of CC

Also I wouldn’t care so much if they just made freedom undispellable.

Yeah, except ret pala…

Yeah, like being able to heal less than warriors and hunters?

I agree about that. Its silly, hybrids heal less than some pure dps specs.

Doing Less heal than pure dps or doing Less damage than restokin (heart speed).

The ret has a serious problem in general this season, because it continues to carry certain bugs that hinder the spec (Luckily they fixed the most important ones with the restart on Wednesday, which were the herald of the sun).

he change in consecration mechanics with the BoJ does not make sense, it should be optional, since with the current mechanics, it is causing it to break ccs and also prevents us from optimally using the pvp talent that consecration dispels slows. Survival is not bad outside of arenas and healing is a bit bad, but it is even worse if you play Templar (In fact, with dampening I do not even recommend that you spend holy power on healing yourself, because healing will be a misery and you will be wasting power sacred), and they could buff the divine protection at 20% and not leave it at 10% as it is in pvp. The damage with the Templar talents is bad, in fact the hammer of light is nerfed by 20% in pvp, which I don’t understand, and the herald of the sun will have to wait for the tests after fixing the talents.

In general, it looks like it will be a bad season for ret in arenas, although it is still suitable for blitz, since it has good cleave damage, utility and survival will not be so diminished by not having dampening.
