Pricing in north african countries

Dear Blizzard Entertainment Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my appreciation for the incredible gaming experiences that Blizzard Entertainment has consistently delivered over the years. As an avid fan and player, I have personally witnessed the immense value your games bring to the global gaming community.

However, I would like to draw your attention to an issue that many players from North African countries, including Morocco, are facing. Due to the significant differences in currency exchange rates, the current pricing of Blizzard games in our region appears to be considerably higher compared to countries with stronger currencies, particularly those in Europe.

While I understand that pricing decisions involve complex considerations, I kindly request your attention to the economic conditions and challenges faced by players in North African countries, specifically in Morocco. The Moroccan currency, the Moroccan dirham (MAD), often has a lower value in comparison, making it difficult for many dedicated players in Morocco to afford the same gaming experiences enjoyed by players in other regions.

I humbly request Blizzard Entertainment to review the pricing structure for North African countries, including Morocco, and consider implementing more favorable pricing policies that take into account the economic disparities. By reducing the prices in our region, you would not only make your games more accessible to a larger player base in Morocco but also foster a more inclusive gaming environment.

I believe that Blizzard Entertainment has always valued its community and strived to ensure that players from various backgrounds can come together to enjoy your exceptional games. Considering the economic challenges faced by players in Morocco and other North African countries and adjusting the pricing accordingly would truly demonstrate your commitment to inclusivity and accessibility.

Thank you for taking the time to consider my request. I genuinely appreciate your dedication to delivering outstanding gaming experiences, and I hope that my message contributes to the ongoing dialogue around pricing and accessibility.

This is the Argent Dawn realm forums for people on Argent Dawn. Blizzard will never read your post.

You may wanna look for a forum for this other than the Argent Dawn server forum, like the General Discussion forum for example. And I’m sure they have one for suggestions, too.

You may want to actually redirect your topic to a section of the forum where it might generate the better interaction, as well as visibility.

they just increased pricing for ukraine and turkey, you are out of luck dude, their only concern is squeezing as much out of people as possible.

As others have said, this is the AD forums, no blizz employee wanders here…

But also the likelihood they read the EU forums at all is limited. You will have better luck shouting into the void. Better to get traction by hitting up the wow reddit, twittering at devs, or getting your favourite youtuber to bring it up.

Currencies in freefall don’t fare well against the corporate pathology to religiously aspire to eternal growth.

…at the company on twitter. If that.

This currency crisis is three times worse in Egypt. And so I give you my voice and my support!

One USD equals more than 30 EGP nowadays.

Which means people in Egypt pay 30 times more than people in Europe or USA would.

Not to mention the much smaller income in comparison.

Please let me know if you intend to post this somewhere else.

Good initiative. It’s the attempt and the initiative that counts, and not just the outcome.

I strongly recommend Twitter for this.

You may gain a greater audience, and speak where a WoW Dev may actually read it.

That, or ironically the US forums, where maybe there are still some blue posters.

Unfortunately as is the case with inflation, if they adjust the pricing in one place they will have an outcry from everyone else wanting the same low price.

But also posting on the AD forums is not gonna help, GD or twitter would be the better options.
