Priest Glyph: Shadow/Light Mastery

I want to suggest massive glyph that would actually change very little effort-wise. Just create two glyphs! First glyph (Light Mastery) will change color of shadow abilities from black-purple into yellow-white. Second glyph (Shadow Mastery) will make similar effect like first by changing light into shadow.

Profit?

  • Lightforged Draenei can be Spriest and Discipline without breaking immersion (And even Holy unfortunately have shadow abilities)

  • Void Elf can be Holy and Discipline without breaking immersion. ( And even Spriest unfortunately have light abilities)

  • Undead will benefit

  • Lightforged Undead will benefit when it happens

IMO Priest as a class require huge rework or even separation between Holy and Shadow… but this glyphs or quest chain (similar to green fire) would fix a lot of problems!

(Imagine SSJ Shadow Form )

So basically same as the idea for Class “skins”? I do agree though.

I hope they introduce this to other classes’ specs/races, because some of them don’t really make sense. Like in the case of the priest races as you said.

Yea I didn’t see this thread before making my own! Funny that they spawned in similar hours… Hivemind waves

This is true with priest since it has two fundamentally opposite specs. Is like if DK and PLD were the same class. Shadows shield is still a light shield with sparkles… and it makes no sense.

Shadow mend is ok… if a bad sound and animation…

There was a glyph suggestion for shaman ghost wolf and enhancement shaman wolves. They too need to be changed based on race.

Same goes for paladin. Angelic wings are totally out of place on tauren, zandalari troll, blood elf or even darkiron dwarf.

I agree that priest needs this glyph because of immersion, but so does shaman and paladin.
