So ive been testing out a few healers in DF and it feels like Holy doesnt bring anything to the table except stam buff and a crappy stun. Maybe sometimes MC but does anyone use this?
Could we please get silence on the general tree?
Mass dispel and a mini lust you can give to team mates on a 2 min CD.
They bring nothing to the table

I mean they’re good an all, but hardly useful compared to the rest of the healers toolkit (monk not included).
Kinda disagree, I think their toolkits are on par with the other healers.
Honourable mentions go to grip and mind soothe too.

Each to his own, I guess. I’d still trade them in, in a heartbeat, for a viable interrupt.

This is not true, except for when compared to monks for example, only that they actually have a kick.
PI is great but we simply don’t come close to what most other healers bring to the table. When people are building their groups for mythics there are specific things they look out to, usually BL and CR. There are two healers for each one of that in the game right now and Shamans even have reincarnation. BL is a must-have on higher keys and CR is always nice because people rarely play perfect enough to not die on mechanics. So now imagine building your group and not finding BL/CR on the DDs or CR on the tank (since only druids have that). Priests are just not an option anymore. No one will pick you for PI alone, it makes no sense.
I really think we need some kind of additional utility and seeing how 2 healers each have BL and CR they could at least give priests some kind of reincarnation we don’t have to spec into as it would be fitting and hardly overpowered.

I play every single healer and I can say without a doubt that, in the current meta, priest’ utility really needs a little something.
In M+, you either want a CR or a BL from your healer. The only reason one would want to bring a priest as of right now is to mass dispell some annoying mechanic (Jade Temple obviously). But then again, why would you bring a healer for that, and not just an spriest ?

I brought 2 other priests to my Nokhud key, one shadow one holy, and that just worsened an already weak interrupt situation. So, yes please? I know evoker is weak on interrupts too EXCEPT for the mass knockbacks which surprisingly few mobs are immune to.
Ended up MC’ing things just to stop casts.
