why are priests still so broken, done 2 bg, wsg a disc manged to stay on our revival platform for practically the whole game and didnt die and was happily killing people at will, then tp a shadow which just refused to die no matter how many people where one him, since cata is seems the only way to do any kinda pvp you have to be a priest or you’re just gonna get shat on no matter what

I think what you’re talking about might’ve been a pre-made grp, or just a good healer you ran into, cuz 2 melees and the shadow is guaranteed dead within 30 secs in random bg’s
You’re assuming i get competent team mates, 9 times out 10 they’re just running around like headless chickens😂 im tank so didn’t put out much damage but decent cc and we still couldn’t touch them, i do admit i could do better but just seems pointless to try nowadays

I mean, just the fact that you went tank in a BG kinda invalidates you talking about “decent teammates” because tanks in BG’s are p much garbage and just there to be annoying rather than effective.
Your right, priests are broken and need buffs.
These sorts of situations tend not to be a case of a class or spec being particularly strong objectively, and more about a specific person or persons being exceptionally skilled / prepared / motivated to over perform compared.
It’s not an indication of what their class is capable of being too strong, more them playing their class to its potential, unlike everyone else in the BG
