The flux for blacksmithing is way too expensive as the title says. For every item you need 3+ Flux which is 45-60g for the flux only. Combined with ores and farming recipes at skill 50+ it makes blacksmithing not worth it.
It’s way more lucrative to just sell the ores and ignore professions completely because they bring nothing to the table you can’t buy/loot for a lot less gold or time.
