Primal Mooncloth set bonus

Hey, just a question if anyone can answer. With the changes to gems and enchants being that ring enchants and jewelcrafting-specific gems now have a profession requirement to benefit from them, will this be the case with for example the primal mooncloth? Or can I just equip the mooncloth and drop tailoring and still benefit from it? Thanks

The Mooncloth-Set has “Requires Mooncloth Tailoring” on each piece.
If you don’t have the profession + specialization, you cannot wear it.

How will it be for me as a shadow priest, i think about spellstrike and frozen shadoweave?

You were able to wear the pieces then unlearn tailoring for another profession and still be able to benefit from them, but if you took them off you wouldn’t be able to put the back on unless you relearnt and levelled tailoring. I was just wondering if this is still the case because you could do the same with enchants and gems, before being changed for classic tbc.
