I agree. It should be removed. Farming obs citadel is impossible with grey tagged mobs every where. I got to do one key and the 5 times I tried to get more it was just a bmurr of grey mobs…
It should be removed
agreed, the tagging system is bad and clunky
party 5 or 2 parties of 4. it doesn’t make sense and is just there as annoyance.
i can understand faction tagging in pvp objectives in warmode
however regular mobs in pve content on farm is ridiculous and it feels like pure laziness from Blizz’s end to sort it out
And you don’t care to elaborate on that…? Because I’d love to be wrong.
i think i completely ignore this content, cos its worthless for me, for now
You dont farm it for gear only. Theres really powerful crafting mats that drop there.
How long is it going to be in place?
I wish I could share that ‘optimistic view’ with you.
I think they nerfed it because elitist raiders keep on crying about ‘casuals gettin’ dem lootz’.
Ah well, no matter who’s correct; the nerf is done and it screws over a part of the playerbase. That’s a fact, sadly.
In the recent interview with Preach, Ion told him that (the example of 30 was used by Preach), ‘he considers a difference of 30 ilvls between a solo/world player and a mythic raider too much’.
And here we are. With world content capping at 385 and mythic capping at 424.
A difference of 39 ilvls. I guess Ion lied about caring about solo players AGAIN, like he has done several times in the past.
haha that’s a new one
If only it was. It’s been going on for years sadly, with the casual playerbase being screwed over because of whining elitists.
I mean max ilvl reward for depleting +15 is prety casual friendly
Gotta admit. After having been gone from SL since S1 and coming back to DF launch. I was very surprised to see no ilvl gain from world quests in SL.
Maybe it was a good expansion
Definitely not.
I suppose this is one of those instances where our definitions of ‘casual’ are not the same. I shouldn’t have used that term, honestly.
What I meant was ‘solo and world content players’.
TBH I don’t realy know what casuals do nowdays, maybe im a casual lol.
Do “solo and wolrd content players” even need gear? Like even with 370 ilvl you can prety much kill every mob even multiple at once while out there in open world.
That’s not the point.
A lot of solo and world content players still like progression and getting stronger. It’s a staple of the RPG genre. That is the point; having fun.
It’s not about “needing” gear. It’s about getting potential upgrades. If there are no upgrades to be gotten in the content I do, I stop doing that content or stop playing. I don’t care if it’s just in very small increments, just as long as there is some progress.
Probs the same crowd that cry. No content.
For my sence of progression, yes. Otherwise, why play an MMO if you cannot occasionially even IF it is slower then anything else, get better gear?
Don’t get me wrong yall, but “Open world” gameplay outside of questing will always be kinda “short” when it comes to upgrades won’t it? - not being ignorant, i usualy skip as much world content as possible and rush straight to m+ and pvp.
Isn’t that the reason they introduced LFR and flexi/normals?
FFXIV does it very differently and yes there’s some stuff you can get, I can get 10’ilvl’s below savage raids without the need to do those.
