There is nothing old about it. Its very important rule set for mmo games. Or would you rather have 0.01% drop chance with no tagging?

rare drops can be rare, we’re talking here about quest mobs/drops in a lag fest.

They will never manage to reduce this gap with 4 raid difficult levels per tier.

You wanted to tagging be removed or changed thats in fact advice. Also you said it server no purpose which is you lieing or you as i said dont understand basics of game desing.

It wasnt opion it was suggestion/advice while you were completly ignorant to while tagging exists in first place.

Not the most entertaining event, tbqh, but it’ll serve a purpose for gearing casual sunday alts.

Very pleased to be wrong. Basically no lag for me (outside azure span but haven’t been there yet) despite world boss and multiple storms. My server is not chock full of 5 man zergs, I already have 2 pieces and one upgraded, 1 more core to go.

Having fun playing with one other person, on my hunter. Happy as a clam. Very impressed. Also they spawn very frequently! Now if they could just figure out azure lag. I imagine it will get bad in late afternoon with more people mind.

Open world has tons of different content that you can spam all day. It’s impossible to have them continuously give you upgrades everyday ad infinitum.

I come online later, but how is the tagging right now?

Every MMO that I played that had this ‘tagging system’ thats 2 decade old still had those 0.1% drops… Wernt there 0.1% drops anyway for classic>?

Depends on your realm I think. I’ve only seen steamwheedle-cartel, moonglade and the-shat’ar about, as I should. Last week I was getting loads of random people from random realms appearing, clearly realm hopping. So as it stands, not as many people about as I expected but I suspect it will change later.

The thing is, why would you need better gear for world content anyway??? How is 375 ilvl screwing you at any capacity?

rare mobs should drop Mythic raid level gear.
I’m fine with quests rewarding heroic ilvl though
need to keep that sense of progression alive.

Players hit the same wall in every content, Mythic raiders eventually get to full BiS and maybe yea stop playing or gear up their alts.
the same logic applies to any other content with loot capping per difficulty.

Yes, the one reason that made me quit SL and BFA. ← Its not a weak arguement. This is genuinely what is the case.

DF’s gearing process is so weird most people outgear even LFR in the first weeks.

Raids cap at a certain ilvl, I would assume the same applies to open world content as well. All I said was that I would like that cap to be a little closer to raids than what it previously have been.
