Priority Helper

So Hekili Priority Helper will not work in Midnight. If I understand correctly, Blizzard introduces built-in, baseline rotation assistance in newer patches, meaning Hekili and similar addons are becoming obsolete or breaking. Instead, we are referred to “one-button rotation” and if we check “hold and cast” option we can stop thinking at all. With Hekiki and similar you can see different options, after a while you know how to play and act yourself, rather than following advice.
For players who don’t/can’t spend time standing in front of a training dummy, it’s so good.
Have there been any complaints? Do those who can spend several hours a day on the game think it’s cheating? Or what is it about?

Edit: Maybe I was unclear. I’m talking about Hekili priority helper and similar addons. You still have to use your whole keyboard and get multiple choices on spells. It’s a very big difference from just sitting and pressing a button

One-button and the rotation assistance are different things. The rotation assistance works by highlighting the skills on your bar with a blue outline. It is effectively the same thing, though nobody likes change. I have been able to learn rotations from it without issue.

Hold to cast only works with cast spells unfortunately. At least in normal usage, if you used an instant cast, it would not cast it again if held down (if it was off cd).

Nah, it is fine to use if you get invited to random normal/heroic runs on a tank/heal alt and they just have dps spot. Put on the default talent build, smash that button, and just do mechanics.

You’re not gonna get close to the top of the meter, and gets ultra boring after 5 minutes, but at least it’s there as an option.
