Hello.
So, my brother bought me a 60 day time card, but there was a little problem. He didn’t know that the code was on receipt, neither I would’ve known, since the card was sealed ( I was expecting the code would be inside when I opened it ). They also didn’t tell him when they gave him the receipt. Is there something I can do about it ? I still have the card and there’s this code, but I don’t know what it’s for. Can you please help me ?
If it wasn’t bought from Blizzard (& I presume not as they don’t sell physical cards) he would need to go back to where he bought it.
Are they able to generate the code again ? I mean we were thinking about going back there and explain the situation, but how can we prove that the card wasn’t used ?
I honestly don’t know - I don’t work for Blizzard. It’s possible they may have a copy of the receipt … though it does seem a very odd way to do things. As you say, codes always used to be on scratch-off cards
Yeah, I still don’t understand why the card was sealed if there wasn’t anything important. I’m just gonna hope that it is possible to get the code some other way. I bet this happened to people before, so it would make sense if they made it possible to get the code somehow.
First time i hear about card without a code, i’m always buying gametime via 60 day prepaid card and code is always greyed out behind the card, so i have to scratch it and type code in battle net, never heard of codes given from seller instead of being on card.
