Problem with drops for Prove Your Strength achievement in Gorgrond (possibly related to Chromie Time)

So while I was leveling an alt I figured I’d go for the Prove Your Strength achievement in Gorgrond while I was at it. I got all but the last 3 drops, and they just wouldn’t drop. I think it might be related to having dinged 70 near the end of my grind, and thus functionally not being in Chromie Time anymore? Even though since I hadn’t relogged the mobs were still chromie time level

I got probably like ~200+ kills in for Mistcreep Stinger, who according to wowhead should have a drop rate of 4% for the item Wasp Stinger. Which means that, according to dropchance.app (website), for a 99% chance of the item dropping, you’d have to kill it 113 times. So I far surpassed that amount. Tried again today, same character, 119 more kills and nothing.

Then I did some testing on 2 other level 70+ characters.

1st character

33 kills on Goren Nibbler, who according to wowhead should have a drop rate of 25% for the Acid-Stained Goren Tooth, meaning it should have taken 17 kills to achieve a 99% drop chance.

2nd character

92 kills on Ogron Spinecrusher, who according to wowhead should have a drop rate of 8% for the Worn Ogron Horn, meaning it should have taken 56 kills to achieve a 99% drop chance.

51 more kills on Goren Nibbler, who, as stated above, according to wowhead should have a drop rate of 25% for the Acid-Stained Goren Tooth, meaning it should have taken 17 kills to achieve a 99% drop chance.

The weird thing, the items for the Gorgrond Monster Hunter achievement do drop just fine, regardless of Chromie Time

WHAT’S UP? Chromie Time isn’t available above level 70, so does that mean this achievement is functionally unachievable if you don’t have a lower level alt? That can’t be intentional :slight_smile: especially considering the fact that the Gorgrond Monster Hunter achieve works fine above Chromie Time level.
