Problem with graphics setting

Good day
One of the graphics settings has a bug, it should be fixed. “compute effects” It is at low or higher settings that polygons are visible from afar, at low or disable this does not happen

What exactly do you mean by that? Can you upload a screenshot?

sry, i can’t include links
shorturl.at / khAIg

I can’t access that google drive.
Just upload it to something like https://freeimage.host/.

You can post links if you use the </> icon on top to mark the text.

Strange enough I seem to be having the same issue have to play with compute effects disabled after last patch.

Same issue here when Compute Effects is anything above low, up-to-date drivers for RX 6600.

So do all you guys here with this visual glitch have AMD GPUs?
I’m on NV and don’t have any issues so far.
Using an old driver though.

Seems so, im running a RX 6900 XT and have this issue

Same issue here

Polygons. Polygons everywhere!

I have an AMD RX 6900 XT. After some fiddling about I was able to “fix” it by turning off the in-game MSAA. My compute effects are still set to ultra.

I was not sure what had changed, but after poking around in Adrenalin I found that it had decided to turn on the “enhance application settings” anti-aliasing option and MLAA. I don’t know if it was this that caused the issue but turning it off didn’t fix the issue. Nor did turning off anti-aliasing in WOW (it kept setting itself back to “advanced” with no anti-aliasing methods selected).

Yet another AMD user (RX 6950 XT) here with the same issue. I have to disable compute effects completely to solve the issue, no other setting seems to affect it for me.
My Adrenalin settings for WoW are either set to application settings, disabled or standard.

Edit: it appears to be an issue with only DX12.

Same issue here with RX 6600 XT…

I also have computing effects glitches, mostly in Zaralek Caverns

Yo, I’m just curious. What settings are you running with in wow with your 6900xt ?
I’m also using 6900xt (since 2022), but I have always felt like its underperforming in wow. Not that its running bad, but I would expect more from a card like this.

You are most likely CPU limited, check the GPU load

Same issue here RX 6700XT

Having same issue 6900XT

Turning off Anti aliasing in game, with multisaple technique o none, It’s finally disabled and now It’s working… well I needed to turn something off, so this is not optimal anyway, but It’s now rendering correctly.

You can mitigate some of the loss of MSAA by increasing your render scale by about ~11% and setting the resample techique to (Bilinear) instead of (Fidelity FX FSR).

You enable the sharpen slider to work on this config if you think it looks a little blurry.

/console ResampleAlwaysSharpen 1

I’m running Radeon 7900XT and have this issue! I noticed it when streaming stuff on my second monitor, the streams would stutter and buffer when turning the camera at certain angles in WoW.

It’s really annoying and I couldn’t figure out what was causing it, it must be this as it only just started happening out of the blue!
