Hello! Since few days ago I can’t see the messages that i send in the chat. It happens only on one of my characters. This happens in /say /raid /guild /party and global channels BUT NOT whispers. Other people can see the messages and respond to me. Tried resetting chat settings, reloading game, resetting game and pc. Haven’t downloaded any new addons and have updated them all constantly. Tried disabling all addons and the problem still occurs. I pretty much don’t use any chat addons except like leatrix plus that colorises the names based on classes. Also, when i chat in /say or /party for example I don’t get a bubble above my head with the message. Any ideas as to why this is happening and a possible fix?
I’m assuming when you tried resetting chat you used the /resetchat command ? If not, try that.
I can see you’ve tried disabling your addons - I would next try an interface reset. You can see how to do this here:
Just did it. No luck. Problem is still there.
Unfortunately, these troubleshooting steps are the only ones I can think of. The following article suggests all these things and then suggests you contact Blizzard (ie raise a ticket) if none of them work.
Was thinking about opening a ticket but then I thought about it taking like forever for an answer and didnt open one.
