Try deleting the file and dowloading it again.
Also try launching the installer with rightclick → Run as Administrator

Tried. Same thing. 45% and that same message.

Assuming you’re downloading the right version, try compatibility mode? Maybe check for driver/system updates?
I’m on a Win 11 laptop and have no problem at all.
Do you maybe have an anti virus or custom firewall up?

when did you become a mod? and do you not often moan of others policing the forum?

OP make sure you are all up to dare with windows11 then try a fresh install of wow making sure any existing files are gone already.

Try using a VPN .sometimes that also solves the problems with battle net download .you can switch it off once you pass that problem barrier and install battle net

I have a feeling its the updates.
Update 23h2 failed every time at 96%.
Looking on the internet and many other people had this problem.

Well its never a good idea to instal wow close to major patches . Their download servers are garbage when there is a heavy traffic

That’s said - im curious how you will manage - cause im also playing to buy a new laptop in few days since my old almost 10 year old laptop is literaly falling Apart :frowning:

If you have WoW installed on another computer you can copy it into a USB or onto a shared network. Then copy it onto your PC and run Bnet and it won’t take nearly as long. May bypass your issue.

Yeah but then your wow folder is liek teice the size of fresh instal .

Its good to delete and redownload it from time to time

I don’t think I have ever done that…

Try it - jsut not today .

You will see difference

It clears a lot of junk in wow folder which are leftovers from all updates

I remember when i did IT liek in bFa IT was liek 20 GB difference

Trying to instal update 22H2 but at 100% fail and nothing happens. Tried running troubleshoot and restarting but nothing so far. I have razer program so could this cause problem with the installing?

For wow/bnet update - are you downloading english or other langauge client? There is/was a bug where non-english launcher wouldnt connect with right server and you had to manualy type it in config file.
Also if download failed you should delete all files the launcher already installed, ones in Temp, AppData etc folders - you can google official blizz instruction on how to do it.

As for windows 11 not wanting to install next big update, I had similar problem. After whole day of googling solutions and reinstalling system what helped was installing windows from fresh installer file downloaded from Microsoft website instead of the built in windows installer that was on laptop.
