Are you telling me, from the point where The blood elf lady left the battlefield to pray at the sunwell and to come back, Xalatath and the Blood elf old man stood there and talked for what must have been some time… this annoyed the hell out of me. no one holds speeches in middle of a battle lol

but even the most fantasy things should have some level of realism in them.

Its the same in movies. The bad guy points a gun at the good guy and then suddenly decides to talk about all his life instead of justing shooting.

And it is always considered a memeworthy thing, especially in scenarios where someone is shot and is dying, but not dying fast enough that he can’t tell his life story in agonizingly slow detail.
Doesn’t mean it’s something that people accept and let slide

in LOTR (books) is full of speeches in the middle of the battle. If the MASTER do that, every fantasy game\book can do that
They do, all the time, in books, comics, movies, series. 
But this is. At least for me it is.
