Problems with the HC server queue Stitches

I entered the game with a queue of 1020 people and a time of 23 minutes, and after an hour and forty, a queue of 2027 with a waiting time of 95 minutes, what kind of nonsense? someone comes in later than me and gets in the queue above? How it works?

In the meantime, 2 hours and 20 minutes have already passed and the queue is 2300, maybe by the evening there will be 10,000? you can bet

This is really nonsense, you make a server on the same hardware that you launched the classic 5 years ago and face the same problems, and how … look for a solution that you found 5 years ago, make layers and let people enter without queues.

PS Offer to transfer from behind the queue to a non-Hardcore server … a separate medal for this “brilliant” employee

Stitches or Nek’Rosh?

Just stitches currently

Stitches: 2500+ Queue
Nek’Rosh: 0 Queue

But it’s very common that people will go to a server with an easier name. So obviously everyone is picking Stitches over Nek’Rosh.

Also, people know Stitches, he is kinda famous, so people go to that server. Nek’Rosh is some Orc in Dustwallow, that Horde have never heard of, and most Alliances don’t remember.

I get DCed after waiting almost 1 and a half hour. Back in the queue 105 min. FK U

And yet last night, just after servers went live, there was hardly any queuing at all. I guess it makes sense that people would log in after work today, so some peak waiting time is expected, but not this bad…

Now that I think about it, I did think two servers wouldn’t be enough last night when I made my choice. Not a great start to this fun experience Blizz!

Glad I picked Nek’rosh. I did it because I thought there would be way to hard to get mobs tagged for the foreseeable future, but when there is also que, I’m very happy with my choise. Server is marked as full so plenty of people, but no que, so I’m guessing we are just below the que limit.

Should have named it Son of Arugal. I have no idea who Nekrosh is and I’m playing this game since 2004 lol.

Isn’t Nek’Rosh the elite orc in the Wetlands?

Good evening!

I think it’s pretty remarkable that after NINETEEN years, all those numerous expansions, the re-launch of Classic, the re-launch of Classic expansions, this company CANNOT figure out the supply and demand of its prime, bread-and-butter product.

Cheers!

Server crash now fss blizz

Same here, got home at 18:00 CEST, got in queue, was 111 minutes back then.
By the time there was 25min left the server crashed. Queued up again when server came back online, started at 53 minutes this time, it stayed like that for 15min… then it went up to 62 minutes and right now after 1h back in queue, I’m currently staring at 179 minutes. What the hell is this? :joy:

I tried also, went into a 3500 long queue, wait time like 90 minutes, server crashed and now queue is like 4500 and wait time well over 220 minutes. I gave up.

Since both were full when I opened classic client I just selected first and guess a lot of ppl did the same

See now this is the common player feeling Blizzard.

Most people will not, in August 2023, wait this long to play a game. I understand that this is, effectively, a free game mode to consumers however if this product’s main strategy is to increase the retention of your Monthly Active Users (and perhaps even provide a temporary spike) then this waiting time is incredibly detrimental to its purpose.

I would like to think that this is just due to a higher than expected surge of interest in Classic Hardcore and that Blizzard will, sooner rather than later, assess the need for a new realm or free transfers to Nek’Rosh, whilst things settle down.

History makes me believe our waiting time will be far too long before we see a solution to this issue.

Then again, perhaps Blizzard will prove us wrong. Potentially… Hopefully… Please?

Well, yes, queues are part of wow experience… In that they did release a true reboot.

An other point that raize more concern for me, especially on a hardcore version are the realm crash.
Like yesterday evening when stitches realm became offline for a few minutes.
Of course resulting in the death off my character.

Feel like a big joke to me when you pay to play, almost 20year of xp running games, and still you release a HC realm with crash issues.

It is. But as a horde only player I had to ask people who tf he was to know. Still choose that realm because of queues. Kinda strange that they choose two Alliance relatable names for EU.

Well i give up.
I have much better stuff to do than lose connection. try to log back in and be for 800+ in cue. waiting time over 40 min.( and everytime i try to play sofar, i was a late starter for this . Friday afternoon)

fix this or put more server or … my abo goes to trash.

You can play on Stitches if you want to play long term since it‘s obviously the bigger server you have more people to play a few weeks down the line

or now on Nekrosh without the queue. It‘s your choice. Blizzard gave you all the options ^^
