I’ve been working towards the Pathfinder achievement with my lvl 120 character. One of the prerequisits is to unlock the Securing Draenor (Horde) achievement. So I’ve accepted the 2 dailies yesterday in my garrison which were Assault on Stonefury Cliffs and Assault on the Pit.
As soon as I accepted the quest for the Pit, I got the achievement for 5 daily quests completed. Problem was, I didn’t complete the quest, it wasn’t showing anywhere among my quests and the achievement wasn’t even checked.
Now with Stonefury Cliffs another problem, quite common, the progress bar didn’t appear. I checked on the internet, did all the suggestions (reload UI, remove add-ons, etc.), nothing worked. Some people said the progress bar isn’t dispaying on their computer, but they were able to complete the quest blind. So I tried to got back and forth, on shoting stuff for probably a solid 2 hours for what ended up being naught.
I contacted support in my region. The first employee told me to do what I already did (add-ons, UI, etc.). So I explained I already did, and a second told me he was unable to do anything and that he’d pass my remark to the devs.
So i’ve spent hours completing the WoD questline to try and obtain the Loremaster achievement only cause I’m missing Nagrandeur for nothing because I cannot get Pathfinder due to assault mission being bugged.
It’s too bad. I like playing solo and unlocking flight was somehow one of my main objectives. Now I’m pretty sad. Plus my OCDs prevent me to do the Legion part as long as I havn’t done WoD first.
The Assault being bugged might be a strong argument in favour of slowly making fligh in Draenor easier to get now.
TL;DR WoD Assault missions are bugged preventing to get the Pathfinder achievement. So will we ever get it fixed or will flight be easier to get at some point?
