hi everyone!
I’m almost new to wow and i’m leveling some alts now my plan is to have 6-8 professions and i actually don’t know what’s the best profession to get it on the main character and which ones on alts, since i have revered+ bfa reputations on my main so i probably can buy recipes easier?
one idea that came to my mind is that since a lot of professions need explosium and i can solo freehold(normal) and get a lot of clothes and send greens to alts and finally scrap them, so it’s a good idea to take tailoring?
i would be happy to hear any idea
As things are now, you only need 3. Alchemy, herbalism and enchanting. Tailoring could be a nice side thing - to craft bags.
tailoring / enchanting is good for cloth wearers.
enchanting is always relevant and tailoring you can use to make gear for yourself
Alchemy (Double duration on Flasks) and Engineering (Gadgets and helpful stuff) for your Main, rest of professions offer nothing really that can’t be shared with other characters.
Engineering is one of the most useful professions in my opinion. If you play a class without combat res, with engineering you’ll have one.
You have normal res as well, and the possibility to craft head Azerite piece after some farming.
Tailoring is a good profession to farm Explosium; cloth is rather cheap.
As you said, you can farm Freehold or kill Humanoid enemies in order to get it.
Tailoring gives to a 470 pants and gloves with a socket. You’re able to craft bags and sell them on the Action House for a reasonable amount of gold, depending on the bag and server.
Alchemy is the most profitable profession at the moment in my opinion. You can craft a trinket with it, Potions and Flasks.
Enchanting is good too.
I’d recommend, if you have enough time, get a gatherer alt and choose Engineering with Tailoring for your main.
If you’re not able, I would suggest Tailoring with Enchanting or Alchemy with Herbalism.
I main Monk by the way
Mmh.
Leatherworking gives you pants and gloves with socket; you can craft Drums.
Tailoring doesn’t work well for leather users, unless you want to level up Engineering with Tailoring for Explosium and when you have enough change to Leatherworking.
Assuming you want to pick any of those mentioned of course.
Thanks. is scrapping tidesprays best way to get explosium?
Yes, at least that’s what I did. It’s the cheapest and materials are fast to farm.
You should also try to do near or all WQs with Trinket rewards
If you’re thinking of creating some more alts, perhaps tailoring/enchanting or Alchemy/Herbalism would be of good use to craft yourself some more bags, healing and mana potions or some useful potions like water breathing and invisibility.
You mean for your alts.
Because by the time you get the stuff to actually make armor it is way below the level you are at now. Way below.
Professions apart from alchy which produces consumables and maybe leatherworking, for the drums, are by and large totally USELESS.
Professions are useless and a timed gated (expulsom roflmao) gold sink. Don’t bother. Get alchemy for potions if anything
Judging by how everyone recommended to go Alchemy i would say go for Herbalisam.I know people like to nag about multiboxing but you just turn WM on and farm herbs that way.Since i saw the turn on investment for Alchemy i would not rate it that sky high as some did, after you buy the herbs that are quite expansive(Anchor and Zin).
Main should have ench+crafting proffesion for the class you play, and get your self a druid and learn Herb+Mining and your are good to go.
Crafting proffessions are in a good spot alot of people level there characters so they need weapons(since wq for weapons are scarese).
The only thing thats proven for the last two expansions is that jc and ins are waste of space.
Inscription is bad only because they removed mayor/minor glyphs and didn’t give us good cosmetic glyphs in return. They even removed cosmetic ones while pruning classes~ DK lost 3 glyphs for Wraith Walk
Aside of Tranquil Tombs and Vantus runes that proffesion is dead. And these cosmetic glyphs are crap.If they had better visuals at least.Or some cool effect, like teleportation around Azeroth like Eng has with wormholes.
Making gold: Enchanting, Herbalism, Alchemy
Having fun: Engineering
