Been playing for the most of the 8.3 and i feel that weekly chests are pretty bad. As i am at a point in the game when i look only forward for min maxing. I play as primary mythic + , and it feels bad that i’m stucked with 465 items , without the possibility to get them to 475 , unless i’m lucky on the weekly chest.
Guess would be nice to have the option to farm them if you’re not lucky, something like echoes, or titan residuum because right now there’s a source of stats – little one tho, but still, a socket or 2, that i can not farm/acces.
In Shadowlands we can choose from multiple options, it will be a lot better.
Current system is bad, yes. Depends completely on luck. Even when i was not raiding mythic yet, i couldnt wear anything from the weekly chest because it had bad corruptions. Now i just wear raid items ofc and buy all my bis corruptions.
Just as an example, this patch i got 8 trinkets. 3 of them were pairs. At some point i can only laugh about it tbh.
