Idk man gta 5 is pretty “Vanilla” to me I think with San Andreas people would go bananas and start crying that it’s offensive to the black community…
Can you name any of these gamebreaking changes which make TBC totally different game from original TBC? Apart from same faction BGs.
Because all I see is how players changed over the past 15 years, not the game itself. Its the same game as it was 15 years ago, its just extremely outdated and players today play it absolutely differently. And cmon, we grew up, we are not the same people anymore. And in an MMORPG the way how people play it matters a lot. How many rushers and min-maxers played back then compared to todays TBC? 2 out of 3 people now rush and min-max to oblivion knowing absolutely everything about TBC. And then they come here and after a month they have nothing to do and quit, saying how bad the game is.
You can’t have the same experience with TBC as teenager in 2006 and working man in 2021.
People should think about it honestly.
I agree 100%. People expect to experience the first time twice.
Removal of /spit
caused by wide-spread weakaura which used /spit
on players with TBC Deluxe edition and caused other players not to buy that Deluxe Edition. It’s financial incentive. You don’t dare touch company finances, retaliation will be quick.
/spit is getting removed cause Asmongold started a trend where people would spamm spit on players with story mounts. There is no wokeness to be blamed just a toxic steamer manchild and his following of braindead kids.
To be fair, the emote is pretty stupid and has no counter-play, like /fart and /poke. You can’t dodge it unless you are doing RP, and you can’t retaliate by beating the guy’s face even in the game, it doesn’t flag you as an outlaw and the guards don’t react. In real life, I’d make the guy lick his spit off my clothes.
But yeah, I use it a lot on retail for pig-riders, and just because the removal was 100% in an attempt to protect boosted boomers instead of the REAL oppressed group at Blizzard, I want the emote back, sadly, now that we’ve admitted our intent with the emote, Blizzard knows we’ll double down on the spitting and the whales will use this as an argument to keep their space “safe.”
