Promised Monk update went as expected

I’m still hoping we get a response, I just want to expand on one of the reasons why I think people don’t enjoy EF and mistweaver mastery. I feel like we need to plaster these things all over the walls for when we do get responses XD

Say there was raidwide damage and you wanted to make use of the mastery. You may want to use some form of the following options:-

  • EF > ReMs > Vivify
  • ReMs > EF > Vivify

So basically:-

  • long channel + a couple globals + casting time for vivify

You need to channel EF to get the mastery out, but you also need to keep up renewing mist to get use from vivify to get use of the mastery. It feels similar to the problem of spells being on the GCD, by the time you get to vivify you usually need to set up another ReM and it doesn’t feel like there’s much time to make use of the mastery. It’s not difficult, it just feels like a wet flannel.

Whilst uplift used to require ReMs, it always felt impactful at the time of AoE damage if timed right.

How is Brewmaster Tanking? Last time I was doing it was when I was leveling, and I had a problem with damage received.

Do you mean right now on Live? It’s great.

Or do you mean on Beta? No so great, but tuning is ongoing so nothing is written in stone just yet.
