As expected Blizzard does not care about monks. The promised monk changes did not take place. They said we will get them Wednesday. Today is Friday.
This company has turned their back on monks. I ain’t gonna buy shadowlands. They tricked me to often now

Well, my dude, if there was a blue post saying there will be changes, but they arent in the game yet, doesn’t mean “Blizz has turned their backs on monks”. Blizz aren’t obliged to patch on the day they said they will do it. They can do that at their own discretion.
You came in, complaining like a child, and you get responses treating you like a child.
Chill out. Changes will come. And if you aren’t happy with the class/spec, play something else.
Getting really tired of whining on these forums.
Sure thing, but if you get tired why waste your time answering in such an aggressive way? Why not just ignore it
That wasn’t aggressive. That was dismissive.
And because the less we tolerate unreasonable whining, the less there will be of it. People will (at least that’s the goal) think twice.
As the saying goes “The world will burn not because of those with torches, but because others stand by idly.”.
I agree on that Blizzard havent cared about Brewmasters being OP for 8 years. Even buffing them now.
The discussion is about two other specs tho
quite a few bugs was fixed, but new ones was added,
What’s up with monks mechanically speaking?
This is on Windwalker side.
Storm, Earth, and Fire is bit bugged. Doesn’t always mimic what the player is doing. Sometimes the clones attack completely unrelated target, although it’s possible to make them focus on your target, but sometimes they jump at a trash pack that you arent even in combat with.
Whirling Dragon Punch is sometimes unusable despite Fists of Fury and Rising Sun Kick is on cooldown.
Poor scaling with secondaries.
Brewmaster is bug free. Unless there is something minor that I have never noticed.
Can’t speak for Mistweaver. I don’t play that.

I’ve yet to find a bug in mw, but we do lack utility. HPS is huge in raids, but that’s all we bring. A bubble every 90 seconds rarely makes us the MVP.
I still love this class, I just think 1-2 more tools would be nice.
The only “bug” for brewmaster I know is when you pull big and stun, you might make all mobs synchronize their melee attacks, making you unable to dodge the multi-hit, removing 50% of your mitigation and something that would do 30-40% of your hp in normal circumstances will oneshot you in 0,1 sec. Ofc we are talking about fortified 23+.
Huh… that explains couple of my deaths that I had no idea why it happened. Thank you.
2 weeks after the promised bug fixes and update on the monk we got nerfs for BrM and MW. cant make this sh1t up
Every single class forum claims that Blizz doesn’t care about their class and/or spec. Don’t feel bad, you are not alone Monks. SV Hunter hasn’t received EVEN ONE mechanical change in alpha or beta, just number tuning.
Quote from the US Forum:
Shamans have had 13 blue posts responding to feedback.
Druids have had 12 blue posts responding to feedback.
Priests have had 8 posts responding to feedback.
Paladins have had 7 posts responding to feedback.
Monks have had 1 post saying they will respond to feedback

I don’t know how they work through bug fixes and whether our class is just ‘last’ for that, but they’re cutting it extremely close.
Anyway posting this where I can since someone earlier asked about MW. Gameplay in m+ and PvP is generally ok, but these are the main problems that jump out to me:-
- We avoid using soothing mist in m+ and raiding (arguably our main mechanic).
- We avoid stacking mastery because it barely affects the spells we use.
- Essence Font takes up most of our time in raid and I know I’m not the only one to find it dull and lacking compared to pre-legion iterations.
- Revival is extremely underwhelming in comparison to other healer cooldowns and doesn’t bring a niche for MW. Sometimes it’s a hindrance than a help with the mass dispel.
Taking mana tea of the GCD is a great start, it’d be great to see other changes too. I know the Covenant bugs have been reported on the US monk feedback forums.
