I have had tons of discussions with people by now, and i must say the PVP community also are to blame. Toxicity has reached insane lvls, and i understand no one new comes to the game. Blud just doesnât see the bigger picture. He doesnât realize just how deep in the butter anything matchmaking related is in wow, and it just gets funnier the deeper you dig. Just let him think boosting will be stopped by matching by cr. Hell, heâs not wrong, because people wouldnât even be able to find a match, so technically, it would.
Only thing which woud completly solve boosting and wintrading problem is ratting decay.
We all agree that it smells very fishy when top ladderboard is occupied with people who played 50 games lifetime and have 2800+, this immediatly pinpoint onto something fishy.
I will do the following:
-200 games are minimum to be visible on ladderboard
-Ratting decay after 2weeks of inactivity
-Mark of honor are seasonal and can be used to extend decay grace period, for example you played alot than you going to trip for 3 weeks, you can spend your mark of honor to extend ratting decay grace, point is to have mark of honor you will need to play previously during season.
-Rewards are awarded on end of season
What issues it gonna solve:
It woud completly erradicate boosting and wintrading, because it wont simply worth it anymore.
no it wonât, legends are usually done within a week how would your rating decay help with that
glads are done within a week as well i believe
and no they arenât done with some shady wintrading or something, the person simply plays another playerâs character
so i dont actually see how boosting in shuffle is the problem because u literally just play vs people and thats it, no shady things involved

Blizzard make 2 types of PvP rewards
- For record breaks (those rewards we have right now)
- For performances throught entire season (for players who are capable to play throu with buffs and nerfs to their spec), not like omg my class is OP I play it, than week after blizzard see they overbuffed someone they nerf and this same player is potato⌠This woud at some degree resolve issue of meta slaving.
