when do we use whirlwind? im using the wowhead mountain thane m+ build and nowhere in the rotation says whirlwind.
also second question and yes im still noob aoe pulls is it just thunder clap for agro?
You never use WhirlWind as protection, you use revenge instead. There is a whole meme about using WhirlWind as prot because âWW hits all mobs 360 degrees, Revenge only 180 degrees infrontâ, joke being if you got enemies behind you as Prot Warrior you cant shield block and as such is dead. Only reason you would ever use WW is if you are going twohander protection meme build.
In short, WW is a very inefficient button, so just throw it off your bars.
On AoE you got Challenging Shout, Thunder Clap and Revenge as your main tools. Generally you just shieldcharge, clap and throw a revenge. Should keep things on you as rotation rolls.
