Hello ! Resto shaman here, I’ve done a couple of twilight protocol dungeons and I encountered enough moments where the mana sphere was destroyed by the team but I didn’t get the mana back. I did not look at the other casters to see if they got their mana back. Is there something I’m missing ? Should I be closer to the sphere when it is destroyed ? Or is it a bug ?Also, it would be a nice quality of life change if, let’s say, mana sphere is alive and boss dies, all casters get their mana back by default. It offers some sort of continuity.
I’m seeing this a lot and I think it’s because dps are blowing it up too quickly so the drain effect isn’t finished by the time the release happens so you’re left on zero mana. It’s especially a problem with combat rogues and blade flurry.
Best solution as a healer is to skull the cobalt ooze whenever its up and hope the dps kill it as there’s no effect worse than leaving the healer oom.
Otherwise I just hold on to mana tide, pots etc and expect this to happen when a mana void appears.
Same thing here, using mana pot, mana tide, and spamming a lot of lightning bolts and I sort of recover from that. Especially if using bronze buff with the haste, machine gun lb mana recovery go brrr
You have to wait a bit (like 4-5 seconds) before all mana is drained to zero and then kill it. If you blow it up too quickly, you won’t get any mana back. That’s some weird interaction but it is what it is.
