Prove your Worth quest HIDDEN internal cooldown ( switching back covenants )

Hello,

I want to raise awareness about another bug that Blizzard keeps away from his paying customers, but may greatly affect the subscription experience.

Covenants can no longer be changed weekly, as initially intended, but once every two weeks. There is an internal cooldown on the Prove your Worth quest that prevents it from appearing weekly. This is either intended and we were NEVER informed, but eats 2 weeks of our subscription, or a bug

Hi Ravenash,

I’m not sure what information you’re referring to with regards to how this was intended to work, but there are no known issues with the process currently.

You can read more about how it works over here:

What are you saying ? Being stuck with a Covenant for 2 weeks ? WHERE does it say that ? And that is not how it worked in December, you hotfixed this without letting anyone know. TWO WEEKS stuck for one decision ? That’s half a month’s subscription with the wrong covenant if you wanna try something out. TWO WEEKS ! Where do you mention that ? ANYWHERE ?

The original design for covenants (on the Beta), was that once chosen, you couldn’t alter them at all.

So be thankful that you can change them once every at all, imo.

There is nothing misleading about the system. Prove Your Worth is a weekly quest, and it counts as completed for the week because you turned it in by switching covenants come Wednesday. Hence, it counts as completed for the week as any weekly quest should be. It just requires some reading comprehension…

Thanks for the context but this 4 month old thread really didn’t need a bump for that.
