Provoke macro tries to use the wrong provoke spell

A brew monk in my guild had his @mouseover provoke macro stop working randomly because for some reason the macro will try to use the provoke spell that Xuen uses, even when he doesn’t have the Xuen talent. Since you can’t use spell IDs in macros this pretty much means that you can’t make any provoke macros because it will always use the wrong spell with the same name, unless this is an isolated issue.

Ah I came to the forums exactly to complain about that. At first I couldn’t understand why my macro wouldn’t work until I invoke Xuen only to realize Xuen’s taunt has the same name, “provoke”.
I unfortunately don’t have a solution for it, but know that you’re not alone.

It’s far from perfect, but it’s not that bad workaround … If you are using Bartender addon, just add additional Acrtion Bar, make it Mouseover cast (there is an option in “State Configuration”) and just use the normal spell from your spell book instead of a macro. You can even add just 1 button (not a whole bar). As I said it ain’t that good, tho… it does the trick.
