PSA: NA forum chars with connected EU subscribed accounts are bugged and some may be unable to post

Whether a bug or intentional, it appears chars on NA accounts connected to active EU accounts can no longer post on the NA / US forums.

This is disappointing to read as the EU forums are often considered and known for being routinely ignored, especially when it comes to feedback with ptr and beta threads often appearing weeks later as afterthoughts or not at all.

I will also be submitting this as a bug report and would appreciate others who have used this feature in the past to check if they’re still able to.

Looking on the customer support section of the US forums this might be a bug over there for everyone not just EU subs as people with US subs are having issues with “no active game time” messages when trying to post on their GD forum.

The new topic button is “greyed” out for me on GD but not on the CS sub forum or on the community council forum even though I’m not on the council.

I imagine they have, or are about to, run an update and it is causing issues. This always happens when some biggish update/change is about to happen.

Hope it means the EU forums get the link at the bottom of the threads back :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

I hope so as well. Drumming up more attention to the issue can only be a good thing.

Just seen Kretias was able to make a post, seems to just be a bug with some accounts then.

Yeah, the authentication servers are having a stroke, so it probably gave you a token with missing credentials due to it.

But ye its the authenticator servers that are currently going bonkers.

They seem to be fixed now as I can post in the US classic forums.
