Im very very angry about an exploit, that one shots bosses in mythic plus keys. That this should be fixed asap is needless to say. What even more important to me is, for the integrity of this game, please punish these exploiters. Take their points and their runs away and absolutely ban them as long as possible.
I am sick that cheaters get tolerated or are punished way too weak. It is time to show people, that they should respect exploit rules and that it is not a funny thing to do. Give honest people a fair chance to be respected, because I really feel stupid playing mythic plus right now. And I really dont like being stupid because im honest.
Yeah this needs fixing. Usually dungeons just don’t have critters in them in M+ to avoid this happening, shouldn’t be hard to fix.
Also for those saying it’s possible to do this by accident. It’s really not, you as a shadow priest have to target and attack something you’d never otherwise be near or have reason to target, and everyone else has to not press a single aoe button to kill it by accident.
It gets abused on different key levels as well, from very high keys, to mid keys (like 13-15). Please just punish them all. Its not only that they get free timed keys, they push their keys up and can play higher keys than they should. Its stupid that 3k players can do Neltharus 14 +3.
This should not be tolerated, because it is a very obvious bug. No way you can say, oh I didnt know. If you see that, leave it.
So again, please have no tolerance against this. For the love of honest gamers.
Guessing legacy buff damage on a [level 1] critter causes Psychic Link to do 30% of that damage to level 70+ targets.
What an oversight.
Yeah… no way that can be done accidentally, Psychic Link affects targets with Vampiric Touch to take damage from direct damage. i.e. the SP casting VT on the critter and hitting it with SW:Death immediately before VT’s first tick kills said critter.
While I fear you are right, I still have hope. The message cant be, you can break the rules, if too many people do it. Then we all can start cheating. It shouldnt be accepted.
It’s a thing with friendly npcs too if they’re lower level than you as certain healers. Trail of light can heal for millions with this, the echo of light gets absurdly big.
Luckily there’s not really any low level friendly npcs in raids or dungeons but in world pvp it’s exploitable to pretty much become unkillable in locations with low level friendly npcs.
I just hope we will hear anything about this topic. The silence is just making me angry. Exploiters should be told their limits and not with only 2 week bans.
While I may be too strict and wish for perma bans (which wont happen), I would at least hope for 6 month bans for such actions. Get them out of season 4 and get them out for the start of war within. Only fair.
