Me logs into WoW once in a blue moon, decide to go farm Bees, i kill a few → got bored → went to brawl a bit in the PvP quest area → We’re sparring with some DK a few times->
Monk with the broken healer spec pops outa nowhere, starts chasing me around -im like, f it , ima f this guy up, i kill him a 2 times , guys flips out on me threatens me with violence, links me my IP adress ( i use VPN, so dont worry bout me safety, im still thinking if i should report ths guy to the police since hes danger to society clearly)

Is world pvp good on Argent Dawn as alliance? I mean, the faction balance there seems to be in favor of alliance…
Thinking about making a transfer, because on outland-ravenrest-twisting nether shard there is very little horde and pvp is half dead. Only duels are good.
How to change your portait (using weakauras, photoshop and a .tga online converter):
Step 1
Requires you to have some photo editing software like Photoshop.
And a little bit of skill, if not dont worry I gotchu:
Go on WoW. Enlarge your frame by 200%, screenshot it.
Go on Photoshop:
Make 2 new layers above the already existing Background one.
1st layer you should Coppy and Paste a screenshot of your Incgame frame. (layer above the layer thats above the background)
2nd layer should be the Image you want to replace your portrait with. (layer above the background)
3rd layer should remain untouched until the very end. (background)
Keep this order of layers.
Get the Cuttout tool, you can use the premade shapes for perfect results or Lasso. Holding Ctrl can help with your precision at times.
Goal is to steal the same shape as the portrait frame.
Once you’re done go on the 2nd layer where your image is and position it in a way to your liking- thats how the final product is gonna look like.
Once you’re happy with the positioning of it, go on the 1st layer again and press Ctrl + Click on the same layer you’re already on (the frame layer. 1st one) this should select everything without the cuttout.
Once you have the selection click again on the 2nd layer (the image layer) and press Delete. ( this should delete your screenshot of the shape we were trying to steal from the ingame frame)
What you’re left with is the final result.
Delete the first layer (the white background) (optional)
if there are any layers left just right click on them and - >Merge Down til they’re all one layer.
Now erase the surrounding area and save the image in its original Photoshop format.
(explaining the optional part: white background will read as a color, but deleting it makes it transparent, in my case i want the ears to pop out of the frame without me removing the background will result it being present in the final result, thus i remove it).
Step 2
Look online for .TGA converter - once you convert the image and download it.
Make a new folder in your “D:\Blizzard\World of Warcraft_retail_\Interface\AddOns”
And name it however you want.
Go inside and drop the file you converted.
right click on it and clicking Properties and Coppy the location string + the name of your file.
The name of my file is Alessa.tga , however i dont include the “.tga”.
You will need this for the next step.
(example: D:\Blizzard\World of Warcraft_retail_\Interface\AddOns\Portrait\Alessa)
Step3
If WoW is open- Close it and reopen it.
Go on Weakauras and click Import and put this in:

Once you’re done: Click on the grouped file (on the +) click on the lower frame on the right side you should click on “Display” and under “Texture Settings” you should be able to ctrl + v the path you coppied to your file. Make sure it ends up with the file name.
Thats it.
Now you just have to position it.

Now if you want more pictures to change according to certain conditions like forms you can play around with Weakauras → Trigger and select “form/stance” and assign different images for different forms.
And you need to duplicate the weakaura.
And link the path to the other image that you want it to swap to.
If you dont have a photoshop you can try any free artist software like Paint Tool Sai.
