PTR for several weeks, yay

The community is on fire, the devs are clueless, no one is truly excited for the runes, it’s the same ‘ol same ol’ vanilla with bandaid after bandaid.

I seriously think that even if the PTR was a whole year they couldn’t adress any of the issues.
Have they actually even adressed a single important thing since P1. I can’t think of anything, and if they have it was probably as usual, too late…

More weeks of ptr? Like its magically gonna get exciting seeing how unimpressed people are in the majority.

Sincerely RIP SoD, the project we never really asked for but instead coped for.

Oh no, I dunn goofed. I edited my post instead of replying xD
Well, RIP my old post then!

Well, in a nutshell:
PTR changes doesn’t happen in mere days.
It will take them time to implement based on feedback.
That’s the whole point of the PTR.
Obviously it should last a while since it is long overdue.

It is summer anyway on roadmap. And it should be jule, because august is TWW release.

P1 reboot when?

If you mean the phase itself - Yes. Thats what they said before launch, you know that time when most people decided if SoD was something for them or not.

The PTR however is a strange thing to have all together. Wasn’t the point of each phase not to know what was around the corner? What’s left to discover now, which mob drops each one of the already known runes?

How could Blizzard think that rushing a release 30 days after reveal was a good idea knowing they apperently had nothing figured out? Whats worse, its a seasonal server, so it’s not like they have another chance at this anything soon (now most certainly after dropping the ball).

Instead of having Phase 3 lasting 3 months, they could have released SoD 3 months later and had a thought out and somewhat more tested and balanced roadmap of the whole thing.
This smells small indie developer amateur hour, yet many of the subscribers pay monthly for this only after what was promised. How can a company get away with this?

Ye it was but the dev team every new phase has major problems. Hunter pets phase 1 and hunters being obscenely op to start with. Stv phase 2 and people making serious blood coins in the first day. Incursions on phase 3 and people making 10 levels in hours and making hundreds and hundreds of raw gold and the raid being insanely overturned to the point I think they lowered a bosses health by 50%+.

So they are PTRing to try and make sure phase 4 starts well and classes are working nicely. If I’m totally honest though there has been so many incredible suggestions on forums and videos for each spec to make it more fun and viable and it really feels like almost all the feedback gets ignored unless it’s something like hunter pets in P1 which they then nerfed into oblivion.

Mega doomie view even with a long PTR I unfortunately feel like phase 4 is gonna miss the mark.

Yes, summer is defined to last up to 23. september so i would not be surprised if they wait for that last few summer days.

Btw are we now paying 13€ a month to be beta testers for weeks or is ptr for free

I meant the PTR, obviously since we are in a thread about the PTR lasting for several weeks.

Them saying they are bringing Difficult mode for MC just kills the hype for me.

Stop trying to force challenge, It did not work out well for ST with the big nerfs it had to get.

I know m8, I just find it funny how phases were supposed to be “2-6 weeks” and here we are now talking about PTR for “weeks” instead.

So phase 4 is somewhere in September/october ?
It’s such a shame, such a long break will kill so many guilds in the process.

My guild is kinda dead and my alt guild is also dieing. We invested so much time and resources to form a 20 man raiding guild just to see it crumbel becuse people are board and dont login any more even for raid loging.

Maybe blizz could realse it in two steps just so people will have something to do.
