Think I’ve just realised I haven’t done Forge of Souls before, like at all. At most, maybe as high level one-shotting everything.

Only thing I remeber from that dungeon was that blue Archmage Rhonin-esque staff and the fact that last boss(?) was that boss from BT 
They also gave him a unique encounter theme (which has some pretty banging parts)

I didn’t start playing with music on till BfA.

I’m glad I did when I did, I might have missed some of those Dazar’alor raid themes.

When did you start playing? For sure missing out (though, of course depending on your musical tastes) since during WoD is when the quality took a nosedive in WoW.
BfA dungeon music was overall pretty cool, I think, but for me in BfA, the stays-on-permanently were those dive bars, they’re so quirkily fun like the kazoo inn music in MoP was

Vanilla, just before AQ opened. I didn’t like the music much back then so turned it off.

I disliked the WoTLK expansion pretty greatly, but it has some of my favourite tunes in the game; pretty sure Vanilla->MoP is when most of the music was more ambient-immersive.
I suppose it wasn’t your jam then, though.
I only ever turn it off when in places I already have heard the sounds and music in a lot.

Young teenage me was a rock or FFVIII/FFX listener. If it wasn’t that, it didn’t cut it.
But I’m glad I turned music on later down the line, some is quite good… Though I still prefer FFXIV music by a wide margin.

Unfortunate that Eonar remains bungled but Aggramar and, apparently, Argus being made less menacing is good enough for me. Maybe I’ll 1 day get that sword, and them scythes

yeah, unfortunately Eonar stays in a garbage state. She’s doable on all classes up to HC… On Mythic you’ll be hard pressed.
