Learning Thalassian is like learning any of the Scandinavian languages though. Might be cool & helpful if you live here, but it’s useless on a larger world scale.
Just Lor’themar prepping him for the return of the Elven empire in the next expansion so they can start purging trolls again like the good old days.
Someone has to deliver the message to the other trolls that hunting season is open again.

That’s a lie. Blood Elves literally have middle eastern influences, not only regarding their architecture, but their lifestyle as well. So you denying that means you either haven’t read my post or you’re in “deny everything to sound reasonable”-mode. There even was a “Blood elves remind me of my home” thread by a Middle Eastern player named Ameerah 2 months ago in the Lore forum.
I’m not. I read the Twitter threads because I get blatantly confronted with artificial controversies that spill over into this forum…

I’ve seen people on Lotro who unironically thought this, especially in regards to roleplaying.
Languages in Warcraft could be handled much, much better. IMHO. Movies that start in [language] and then slip into [viewer’s language] tend to be a pretty decent example. Conveys that they’re speaking in 
foreign well enough.
Always had an utter dislike for common in fantasy settings, it is quite bland and uninspired imho.

Night Elves seem to be inspired by Japan with theirs…
Outside of Hookahs and kimchi respectively, what about them shows more of this culture?
should take the FF14 approach where they have armoured ears, then go a step further and armour the eyebrows too

WoW is still an atrocity too when it comes to some models having fine detail and others have PS2 textures.
Also god forbid if you want a special color because no dyes. Enjoy wearing armor that looked ugly already back in 2005.
honestly going back to the cinematic, ongoing story issues aside i thought it was really well presented and put together
the models did give me GTA trilogy remaster vibes though with how smooth and shiny they are like they’ve been put through an AI upscaler

No, my point is that the people on Twitter who call Lor’Themar simply “white” are the same people who think Blood Elves are POC representation. I can hardly expect everyone to keep track of vitriolic social media discourse, but jeez at least try.
