Then the Primus does a big speech in front of all the Maldraxxi where he talks in foreign about conquering the world and shadowlands, before the Archon stabs him in the back
I feel like I’m a weird minority because I love the Tundra, especially the Alliance side
It’s better than Howling Fjord.
Also, the idea of settlers appearing there and setting up farms and mines is cool.
Plus I love dragons.
It can’t be Maldraxxus because you KNOW Blizzard wouldn’t be able to pass on a pop culture reference while doing this and ‘it was Maldraxxus all along’ just doesn’t roll off the tongue as well.
Maybe Revendreth, Bastion, or Ardenweald could fit better?
I mean, didn’t Revendreth have those Dread Lord guys, they’re totally schemers!!
“It was me, The Primus!”
then he does the face™ and the point™
I believe they confirmed it to be a Maldraxxian legend, rather than fact. That the Primus was so good, people began to believe he was consorting with a creature that allowed him to see the future.
“And then he turned himself into a runecarver. Funniest sh*t I’ve ever seen”
…
This entire thread needs burning, we are reaching unprecedented levels of Cursed here…
That interview with Ion was a whole lots of nothing. Corporate talk all around.
That’s a great point, Raynardo, thanks for the feedback, and we’re really excited about what’s to come next, I can’t say much, but what I can say is that we’re looking forward to seeing players experience everything patch 9.1 has to offer, I think people will be pleasantly surprised by what’s to come, so just wait and see. ![]()
at this point you need to convince me you’re not ion
starts grabbing my pitchfork ominously…
Well if the next expansion is about the timelines collapsing around us you can string me up and call me Ion all you like.
But also it’ll be the best expac ever so, in advance, you’re welcome.
World of Warcraft 9.0+1.0: Thrice Upon a Time.
Go back to an alternate alternate Draenor, twenty years after WoD, and prevent the bad future seen in the Mag’har questline from ever happening!* **
* At least, on alternate alternate Draenor. Not on singly-alternate Draenor. Still sucks to live on that one.
** At least, until the writers decide that shamanism is the most evil power in the universe, and you’ll need to help the draenei cleanse Draenor of shamanforged orcs.
protect Azeroth from the Fireforged Orc invasion of the Elemental Horde by invading alternate alternate Draenor, culminating in the Hellfirelands Citadel raid where Ragnaros is summoned yet again…
I’m alright with the Borean Tundra. Absolute unit of a Horde base, the Nexus looking pretty damn cool (pun intended) and lest we forget - Tuskar.
Tuskar are also in Howling Fjord and Dragonblight though, and actually have more content there than they do in Borean Tundra.
I don’t hate the zone though. I still really love the intro where there are commoners queuing up to sign up for the war effort and just the general feel of the town there. It feels more like arriving on the scourge ridden continent of Northrend than if you land in Howling Fjord where you’re beating up vikings for most of it.
I think I like the tundra more these days
Used to prefer the fjord but I’m kinda tired of 3m tall vikings these days
The Fjord was my choice for most the time I played, just because it’s way more aesthetically pleasing and has better music.
Now I lean towards Tundra. Or at least I did before Blizzard let me just not do Northrend at all.
Tundra is more compact/quicker - at least, getting there - than Fjord.
this is the only positive part about boring tundra
gigamen were present in boring tundra as well though, so

Thassarian’s questline was pretty cool
Better than Tirion accidentally dropping Ashbringer lol
