- Not meant for reform and actively encourages commiting crimes again
- Can buy your way into good prisons/cells
- Everyone hates you and you have to hate all groups that ain’t yours
- Hopelessness
- Everything is dull and gray to look at
- Slave labour
- You can get Epstein’d
The Maw :
- Eternal Damnation unless some random murder hobo wants to use you to force you into labour for a Covenant
- No food
- No body
- Everyone hates you and you hate everyone
- Hopelessness
- Everything is dull and gray to look at
- Screams of anguish everyday and anytime

The Maw clearly has less racism.
Probably because everyone in the Maw has the same model/form. Also being tormented kinda makes racism not your main concern 
everyone says maw is a lot about torment but outside of some abstract soul shenanigans going on, there’s not even that much torture going on
like yeah, okay, there’s some ppl in cages or w/e, how’s that different from any place on azeroth
for a place advertised as the worst place in the universe to be, it looks pretty stale tbh

Everything working as intended in perfect stasis and creative sterility with manual labour at its core. At least the kyrians have robotics.
My big question remains: who managed all this before Zovaal was banished? Was the Maw just a soul garbage chute? I probably missed out on torghast lore because I only touch it when forced to.

I hope they arent fully replacing the crest of lordaeron with that, I actually prefer the crest of lordaeron to those scarlet shield recolours, if its the one Im thinking of, the large gold n wooden one with two swords coming out of it, way better than those, literally just recolours for the original scarlet shield
A quick google tells me you are thinking about the ROYAL crest of Lordaeron while these shields are the RUINED crest of Lordaeron.
Ahhh right nice, not that I should care, I tried “farming” the Royal Crest for about 3-4 runs n gave up, I dont even have the shield to care about it lol, but still, too nice looking a shield to need changing, one of the nicest in game I think.
I think it is a bit extra with the swords, but it is a nice big shield and it looks good.
The swords make it more of a decoration piece than anything I think like something a Lord would hang above their fireplace or w/e, yeah, it would look more…practical without the swords whilste still keeping a dope af look tbf.

One thing I’ve always wondered is where are Oribos’ failsafe systems?
If the fate of a quadrillion souls rests entirely on a single giant robot working… that’s just not a very good system at all. Couldn’t they plug in the big tube on the bottom of Oribos, so the souls would fly around rather than being funneled into the Maw?
Presumably the Maw didn’t exist before Zovaal? As both he and it are creations of the “(real-proper we promise) First Ones?”
what if I told you that the systems in place were bad and we did nothing to solve them

Korthia contains a crashed structure of the same design. Soul filter tubes are clearly not unique and can be replaced.
The afterlife realms were shaped by their respective eternals but at that time, Zovaal was the Arbiter and those souls had to go somewhere.
