PTR Spoiler/Discussion Thread (Part 2)

Nowhere near equivalent and the forsaken have them beaten on that atrocity high score many times over.

If the horde will defile and destroy anything to satisfy territorial ambitions and unquestioningly follow obvious villains into ruin, they’ll rule a technically intact planet of ashes and should be stopped by literally everyone else long before that.

At the very least, the aspects and others should be grumbling and gritting their teeth at every turn cooperating with the unambiguous source of a good chunk of the world’s ills.

“You expect a thank you? You did what you were supposed to do, killing those primalists. Try not to join them next time we send you out there…”

The general glossing over of what’d be generational trauma when dealing with the red team at this point is astonishing.

It won’t, so that’s that :+1:

But what about all the pride over killing Every. Single. Red. Dragon. in the sanctum as deathlord/bolvar puppet during legion just for a fancy new ride?

Remember kids, when its Horde races it’s:

#NotAllOrcs
#NotAllBloodElves
#NotAllForsaken

But when it’s Alliance races

All the draenei (which aren’t Eredar) were responsible for the Legion
All the night elves were responsible for the Sundering
All the humans were to blame for the Internment Camps

Thats not really Horde/Alliance related and more a Knights of the Ebon Blade thing, no?

Ebon Blade were fighting the Legion (threat to the world)
Red Dragons were not fighting the Legion, and instead tried to fight the Ebon Blade
ergo red dragons were a threat to the world

This is why Alexstrasza, having reflected on her mistakes, has said not a word to the Deathlord about it since.

And the worst part?

It was the worst trade deal in the history of trade deals.

All the faces are literally the sameface rn. But hey, at least our feet are in 3k and with individual toes.

True Blizzard moment when you have to wait 2+ years for a feature and it’s done half-baked.

Please do not have such unrealistic expectations for a small indie company like Activision-Blizzard.

If there’s one piece of good news, it’s that this patch represents the logical conclusion of the night elf storyline that has been dragged out for the past five years.

So, hopefully this means that we won’t have to deal with night elves regularly getting more attention than any other playable race from now on, and that we won’t have to deal with night elf fans treating each instance of attention like it’s a personal insult.

Changing somg RGB values on a slider and locking it in is more like a 10 minute job.

Alliance/Horde, Belf druids, undead dreaming. That’s nice and all. But ehhhh…

I wanna be a freaking tuskarr!

(If you know this you old)

I want quilboar!

The best race.

Sethrak or riots.

I’d unironically remove allied races and roll them into customisation.

In my headcanon, the Deathlord must obviously be Horde aligned. I mean what else but an Orc to take the time to gleefully slaughter and maim Red dragons, twist their fallen into their unholy steed and somehow getting away with it because Alexstrasza would literally forgive all Orckind for all she and her flight had gone through rather than actually get them into her -*/$list forever more (It’s get ickier with further retrospective really.)

Same, but in the sense that I’d just make the ones that make sense to be separate races be regular ones and just add the rest as customizations.

Does the term ‘allied races’ even make sense when literally all of them joined the factions proper? Did it ever make any sense to begin with, considering how the first allied races were joined the factions or had already been in them for ages?

It does. Kul Tiran vulpera have nothing to do with the Horde, the Lightforged put the Light before the Alliance any day, the Dark Irons still are too split to be considered Alliance more than a half, and there still aren’t hozen, jinyu, broken and such available even if they actually are allied races, connected to the factions but with their own problems and lives.

Kul Tiran Vulpera are pirates and that argument could be made about every race as every race has been depicted as pirates.

The Lightforged are led by the current leader of the Alliance.

The Dark Iron Clan has been a part of the Alliance since Cataclysm.
