I’d say that by that time, the mana or fel addiction was vastly under control before their transformation.
I think the topic of addiction or reliance to anything shouldn’t be indulged for too long in WoW. The problem only arises when it’s necessary for the story, Kaja’mite should be the Goblins most important ressource for their “intellect” or mental capacity but it’s never brought up. Best you can do is fill in the hole with a “They’ve been exposed for so long to Kaja’mite that their base intellect now is what we see them as in the modern day.” as it’s the most inoffensive headcanon.
Edit: do we have any idea how long before any unlocks from Remix transfer to Live? I’m chomping at the bit for that Brewers backpack keg, at long last.
