It´s not âno fun allowedâ scenario but rather âwe don´t want to force everyone to pay for race change to humanâ.
With shared reputations that offer only one-time reputation reward, keeping human racial in would punish people for not doing content on a human first.

Big enough to make you choose specifically human over another character though. Glad Diplomacy is gone. I think itâs replacement is kinda meh but having a useless racial is hardly unique to humans.

Thinking about it, honestly they should take a good luck at racials and overhaul them I think!
Also, maybe add racials based on what clan/kingdom/tribe/cartel your character is from!
Ei, a Forsaken from Dalaran would have different racials than those from Lordaeron or Alterac or Kul Tiras!
And a darkfallen would have different racials from a living elf!
