The “PC” is the most neutral character of all. As they’ll take quests from anyone. Horde, Alliance, Argent Crusade, Goblin Cartels. From demons to peasants. Orcs to Arakkoa. Humans to Titan Watchers. And I think in one case due to time travel they take a quest from the themself.

I’m also VERY lary of any idea of constricting player characters by the ‘Meta PC’ mechanics.
Otherwise we have hundreds of The Champion of Azeroth, chosen of blah, hero of bleh and yada yada.
And absolute brainlet who looks at a character Evilly twirling their evil moustache and going “Yeah, seems legit!”

Exactly. You can RP a neutral pandaren perfectly fine, you’re not restricted on that front. At the same time your pandaren toon is Horde. Unless you are the infamous pandaren PC that stayed neutral and levelled by mining and herbalism, of course.
But we know that the Tushui and Huojin have joined the respective factions. And apparently the two dracthyr factions that went to scout out the Horde and Alliance joined these factions, too. So in that aspect they’re pretty similar to each other, and distinct from the Earthen.
It is a tough world : )

Come to think of it, the Earthen, as well as any other Titan-forged race, are walking hoards of valuable materials and reagents. Anyone would look at them intensely the moment they understand that there’s an entire race not protected by the faction laws, free for the disassembling.
Snorting Earthen Azerite Cain wasn’t on my list of potential uses for them but I welcome it.
I’m sure Goblins would ask themselves if they do the same thing as Earth Giants in Azshara and they poop rare and useful material… It’s the better option over gutting them or forcing them to grow cristaline beard at an infinitely fast rate.

Kalecgos had a relationship with Jaina and the Sunwell, Azuregos with a Spirit Healer…
