I have waited so long for Undermine! I’m excited to see how the four Cartel factions square up, because this will almost certainly be big lore for Goblin RP characters across Azeroth.

The showcase mentioned 4 sub-factions for the player character to swear allegiance to during the patch; Bilgewater, Steamwheedle, Blackwater (Raiders), and the Venture Co. It’ll be cool to see whether the Venture Co. evolves into its own official Cartel, rather than just the offshoot company of planet-hating profiteers it currently is.

You’re right, I stand corrected on that. The Venture Company is indeed a Cartel - I wrongly thought Company/Cartel was mutually exclusive.

I say this as someone who cares very little for goblins… but frankly, it’s about time we go there. I’m surprised we didn’t visit in Cataclysm if I’m being entirely honest.

I mean, other than Gally being Competent Sleazebag instead of Chaotic Sleazebag…
It’s not like Sylvanas where they completed 180d her character arc; Gally has always been a terrible person.

oh for sure. he just used to be wrote with a bit more nuance to it. sure the gallywix that used to be fit enough to slug it out was cool but it was the same gallywix that uh…well. maldy and his daughter. nuff said.
