PTR Spoiler/Discussion Thread (Part 3)

In the five minutes before my break ends; the (Kalimdor) Tauren representation is diluted down to Baine, the Forsaken Leadership which… aren’t Forsaken, the blood elves being reduced to the Horde’s representation in Light themed narratives while the void elves supplanted the sinister angle they had prior. There’s also the cynical angle that BFA pretty much eradicated any character that isn’t agreeable with the Alliance to some degree.

A narrative will naturally need to grow, progress and develop. But i think it’s pretty obvious that the narratives the Horde has been dealt (read: Warcraft 2 on repeat) with has whittled away at the appeal and interest some people had.

A good example would be the Reliquary expedition in DF; it’s nothing akin to the self-serving and ecclectic hoarders that the Reliquary has been depicted at.

I hope we never see the giant megacontinent or this empire tbqh, I think the random inclusion of a “hey there’s a super-duper more awesomer azeroth on the other side of the planet lol I can’t believe you nerds live like this” kind of sucks to be honest!

The worst timeline. Wow elves are at their best when they are at each other’s throats.

I agree but I fear this will never happen again, especially not if we’re ‘uniting the tribes’ in Midnight. Everyone’s too friendly now.

Though if Tyrande wants to blow up the Sunwell that’d work.

It would unironically be based for the Sacred Flame to be a Blood Elf 2.0 move, with a subjugated Light/Flame elemental acting as battery for an Empire’s holy might. Only it’s a secret and the people at the top don’t have moral qualms about it.

I think that ship has well and truly sailed. Besides, the whole “what’s on the other side of Azeroth?” questions have been piling up for literal decades by now. As Thanos, this was inevitable.

That’s fine!!! Worlds are meant to have mysteries!!! You’re not meant to answer them all Blizzaaaaaaard!!

Yeah. Even buying up the Drust stuff this month, alongside the simplistic weaponry, has still left me at a now solid 8.1k Tenders. That’s with all the months I’ve been lazy and not done the activities for the extra 500-1k as well, oy vey.

It’s dire out here.

I think I’ll be skipping this month’s offerings. Much like last month there’s a couple of mounts I’d potentially get for the +1 but knowing that the anniversary event next year will probably offer most if not all of them for half the price…I’d rather save as many tenders as possible for when housing furniture is inevitably thrown there.

No hate on Lorthemar if his rizz was powerful enough to unite Quelthalas and Suramar.

I think she should push Xalatath in and see what happens. Just a little jape of course

It’s probably an Empire the same way Zandalar is. The writers don’t know the definition.

Gotta love my Empires with no vassal states.

Get in, losers, we’re going back to the Highlands!
-bagpipes start playing, then stop- Wait, what do you mean not those Highlands?

Edit: ‘Tensions rising’ I guess some people will be happy, then.

It’s a continuation of the Heartlands story set in the Arathi Highlands, featuring Stromgarde, the Mag’har and Faerin Lothar.
