Legion: Genn kinda attacked the Warchief with barely a motive other than reve- Oh, nevermind, SL retroactively made him Entirely Correct to go for the throat there

What do you mean Lordaeron comes after Teldrassil?

Each time I get a glimpse of Portergauge or Baalâs agenda-driven brainrot via random screencaps I feel reassured that avoiding Bluesky/Twitter has been a good choice.
In fairness the funniest part of Baalâs argument here is cropped out where he ends with: Iâm alright with ethnic cleansing on Ogres but Trolls whoâve hated Strom since forever? Woah there, thatâs too far.
I am always at risk of seeing an Americas-based WoW Playerâs opinions and thoughts and that should be considered reason for protection of the European playerbase.
The new transmog set having Sylvanasâ face jutting out of the breastplate is so god damn funny to me. I guess in concept itâs supposed to just be a banshee but letâs be real here.
Iâm probably not informed enough on Forsaken culture, but wouldnât they have ditched the Dark Lady motifs since Sylvanas went to Superhell and would have dragged the rest of the Forsaken with her if she didnât have a meltie in the cinematic?
Tabards which ditched the Shattered Mask were added to the game as part of the Forsaken heritage quests, but they also added a new tabard that still had it at the same time. https://www.wowhead.com/guide/transmogrification/forsaken-heritage-armor#tabards
I expect attitudes towards Sylvanas among the Forsaken are still a mixed bag, especially if they donât get access to wowpedia.
Plus there was this little scene https://www.wowhead.com/news/sylvanas-windrunner-in-the-undead-heritage-armor-questline-spoilers-334848
âThe Banshee Queen never turned her back on us!â is probably a pretty easy thing for a lot of Forsaken to believe. Even if the world curses her, they can still nurture their faith and loyalty.
After all, the Forsaken are quite used to being cursed by the world.
It did not escape my notice that one of the sets + mount have Caliaâs colour scheme down to a tee.
At a guess (asides from IRL nostalgia and Blizzard not wanting to deprive players of recognizable iconography from WC3), the Forsaken may simply have kept the symbol because it felt more like theirs, than that of their former leader.
I do wonder how sheâs going to explain her blue eyes to her fellow Dark Rangers lmao.
âOh yea I pulled a genocidal campaign and served an evil death god to get the part of my lost soul back, no idea how youâre going to get yours back, goodluck! xoxoâ
Otherwise, yea Sylvanas iconography is to ingrained within Forsaken aethestics to fully get rid off, and I agree that alot of Forsaken will still see Sylvanas as their lady and savior.
Galen Trollbane and his forsaken Strom were taking out back and deathcoiled in the head by the Ebon Blade during Legion, I donât think theyâre really around in any sort of capacity anymore.
Like the Scarlets, Defias and what not, who were wiped out before?
It couldâve been re-added as a way for Forsaken to play a bigger role in the Arathi Highlands, and it was just an idea! The Defilers work just aswell, anyways
True enough, itâs a bit rich of me to be splitting hairs when we are well and truly in âSomehow, Palpatine has returnedâ territory re: enemy factions.
Iâd assume they all know by now, but if I were to craft a cunning lie like a lying liar, Iâd say that when she blew up the Helm of Domination (the symbol of the Scourgeâs oppression and enslavement of the Forsaken, so kind of a big deal for them) some of its magic changed her eye colour. You know how elf eyes be. Always changing!
