âThe Banshee Queen never turned her back on us!â is probably a pretty easy thing for a lot of Forsaken to believe. Even if the world curses her, they can still nurture their faith and loyalty.

At a guess (asides from IRL nostalgia and Blizzard not wanting to deprive players of recognizable iconography from WC3), the Forsaken may simply have kept the symbol because it felt more like theirs, than that of their former leader.

Otherwise, yea Sylvanas iconography is to ingrained within Forsaken aethestics to fully get rid off, and I agree that alot of Forsaken will still see Sylvanas as their lady and savior.
Galen Trollbane and his forsaken Strom were taking out back and deathcoiled in the head by the Ebon Blade during Legion, I donât think theyâre really around in any sort of capacity anymore.
