Gear is going to look so horrendous on most of those classes on a dracthyr in dracthyr form

I just need a good matching belt tbh
Obviously, there are exceptions to the rule, like you and me
sadly true. do recall though that, unlike evoker, drachtyr of other classes can permanently stay in their visage if they choose. not a great-workaround but
I look fantastic thank you very much.
Shouldāve just been able to gear fully up as a Dracthyr, or choose to show the gear customisation you create upon creating a dracthyr
Fair enough, I have seen worseā¦
Another day closer to my dracthyr hunter with drakeadon pet
They look just as bad as the evoker variants
The only thing funnier than this would be if they put the Auction House Brutosaur on Trading Post as well. (Or Twitch Drop it, which is even funnier.)
For prepatch or TWW? Looking better than Balance who are all pondering the right now, and likewise with Resto who iirc are also doing bad. Guardian Druid iirc is looking to be the best of the Druid specs however.
Itās not amazing, and the loss of extended range hurts really bad, but at least itās not worse?
I personally loathe the Hero Talents we get, theyāre boring and uninspired, and visually very underwhelming. But uhh, I think both are looking to be relatively equal in DPS output, and maybe DoTC becomes the meta pick for high-end M+ due to slightly better defensives, but not sure.
If Balance Druids donāt get gigabuffed in a few weeks, Feral is probably going to end up being the meta pick for Druid DPS. But Feral is and always will be the meme spec, so I really donāt expect that to last for very long.
Both really. I like being leaf cat on my druid, I know itāll never be as good as rogue, its just whether its worth staying feral and how hard soloing is going to be on him. But if resto and boomkin aināt doing so great ATM then maybe I should just shelf him for rogue finally.
EDIT: Also, sorry this was late, I didnāt get the notification.
Jury is kind of out until we have our hands on release-version builds of hero talents tbh, atm things are relatively well-balanced at the low and mid-end and only high-level m+ers should be considering the bridge (for being high-level m+ers, not because of balance). Hero talents may end up drastically screwing with the relatively balanced nature of all the classes currently or they may end up being -1% +1% decrease/increases, or the worst ending: a mix of both where it becomes clear blizzard put work into offering a spec-altering change of gameplay vs passive damage increases.
IIRC one rogue spec is really busted, but if you donāt like said spec (I think itās Assassination?) then Feral will be fine. Feral got big buffs this week as well, but with one week left itās also relatively irrelevant. But thereās usually bigger tuning passes happening in the first weeks of the season anyway, so who knows what will happen after TWW launches.
With Guardian being an excellent choice for a Tank (and I might be wrong about Resto Druid being bad as well) you have the option to multi-spec as Feral too. I wouldnāt necessarily shelf the character just yet. If you want to solo old content, Iām pretty sure Druidās a better option for it anyway?
Iāll just suffer through Outlaw until they remove Slice and Dice/Roll the Bones ._.
I rrally want to know the ādesignā decision behind that nonsenseā¦
I will die on the hill of āOutlaw was ruined when Combat was turned into Outlaw.ā
Combat was a perfectly good spec. Forcing pirate aesthetics on it, ruined it. Not to speak of the mechanics and aesthetics of roll the bones, having giant boxes drop down around you.
Give. Back. Glyphs!
If they wanted pirate options they should have been options, I canāt vibe with the stupid little pistol thing and so on.
Yeah Blizzard rly dropped the ball on class design in legion.
Combat went from one of the simplest and solid specs into an RNG bavarian clock that is either completely busted or severely undertuned.
Demonology warlocks to this date roll in their graves from having their metamorphosis taken from them by a zoomer GOGOGO class.
SV being forced into melee, a design feature that frequently makes it the least played spec in the game, to the point that it is only ever played if it is omega busted numerically.
Meanwhile MM had to somehow encompass the fantasy of a patient sniper that shoots long range heavy hitting shots with a DoT playstyle of old ranged survi. As one can imagine, these two fantasies were not just mildly conflicting, they were utterly opposed.
SP went from one of the least changed, stablest specs into a rollercoaster of reworks to the point it is a meme if they dont rework it in an expansion. Same to an extent with Disci.
Yeah i cant with a straight face say any of the specs and spec design improved coming from WoD to Legion. Let alone MoP.
Ok, but I like my gun on my Worgen.
That being said, youāre right; Glyphs fix that. Could have Throwing Knife/Mini Crossbow/Pistol, as just a start.
I agree with you on all points, except this. I love SV hunter for being a melee hunter spec. And Iām also in the tinier bucket of loving that itās not dual wielding. Dual wielding is so dumb.
Iāve mostly been maining MM and this is the worst one to me, trying to push the MM Hunter spec as a spec not using pets (but it sometimes being better/more meta anywaysā¦) and having to constantly apply a single target dot on every target has been an extremely annoying reoccuring design choice
I think itās cool that thereās a melee spec but I also feel like survivalās other designs focusing on traps and funky explosives etc really doesnāt match it, it feels like a very incoherent āthemeā
Agreed, but possible hot take;
Dual Wielding should be available for those who want it, and any spec that can dual wield OR 2H should have them both numerically be the same.
Wanting a 1h/offhand on a caster being a chore to pick up items for sucks, frankly.
