I am still of the controversial opinion that the Arathi warfront is really fun because of the garry’s mod level of chaos you can cause by stacking troops, elementals, tanks etc and smash them into the enemy and causing huge skirmishes. It’s like an actual WC3 battle.
Darkshore feels like a MoP scenario that overstays its welcome.

Yup, I’d agree with all the above.
Reducing the number of players required, HC mode, ‘Challenge’ variants etc - I can see plenty of ways they could have worked going forward, but the devs are forever ‘One shot and that’s your lot’, either outstaying its welcome (AP) or being binned if it doesn’t fly.
To be fair, seeing how the Warfronts were I can totally understand Blizzard giving them two chances and then binning the concept.
Even Night Elf bias couldn’t make me enjoy either of the Warfronts.
I do not even want to hear a defence of them literally having an almost 1:1 phrase.
I forgot they retconned the soul grinders to be azerite refineries. I wonder what the Cult of the Damned supervisors were thinking.

The one time they could have gotten away with less work and made everybody happy and instead they chose to design around the two most coomer friendly models with deviant art levels of OC (DO NOT STEAL!") options.
All they had to do was add dragon eyes to existing races.
