Public Crafting Orders, counter offer

So my problem with crafting orders, is this.
I open up public crafting orders, I see 3x Algari Competitor’s Staff.

  • Rank Requirement : 5
  • Reagents: Rank 1 Coifed Greendwood & Rank 1 Shadow Ink
  • Embelishments : 2x (increasing difficulty)
  • Comission: 10 gold

I mean, I cant even craft it, and if I could, I would not speld 400 Concentration.

Why cant i make a counter offer at 10k gold in the UI?
Or mabye select that i need rank 3 Green wood and shadowink + 5k gold?

I’ve tried starting dialogues, to explain how crafting works, so manny times, but I’m just so done with starting over, every time you craft for a new player. I’ts too complicated to explain, and half of the players probably tink you are out to scam them.

Please make a counter offer system.
Nobody want to read trade chat, it’s a spam fiesta.

It’s not possible to set rank requirement on public orders. Are you sure it’s public and not patron orders?

Here is a solution for you.

  • Go to chat setting and move Trade Channel to its own tab (or window). This way you can read guild/party/whisper chat easily without trade getting in the way.
  • Disable Trade (Services) channel or move it to its own tab (separate from trade channel). This is where the spam about raid, M+, PVP and leveling boosts is.
  • Install an addon to filter trade chat. I personally use Global Ignore List. I create rules to filter out people advertising crafting (like “looking for work”, WTS, LFW, etc). Some players spam a lot and not in those filters, I create rules those those players (There is a particular player whose rule matched 4500 times).

If you do this, you will find trade channel very much manageable and readable.
