Punishing leavers

Can we start punishing leavers?

Priest leaves +8 Mechagon right after 3rd boss just because tank didn’t let him drink once and pulled trash when priest wanted summ mage who failed passing through that section with steam and alert bots.
So… I deplated +8 because of mentally unstable priest player, who cannot handle frustration from tank being egoistic maniac ignoring chat.
None of it was my fault, yet I am only one punished.
I mean… At least give them 30 mins deserter or SOMETHING.

(Maybe just skill issue with identifying such individuals in group finder idk.)

You had full control over who joined the group didn’t you? You want all the upsides of convenience and none of the downsides.

You sound like a nice person to group with. It’s a mystery why you’re stuck in pug hell.

There was a big wave of bans not long ago for leavers.

Imagine how horrible run must have been for priest to still prefer to risk his account but decided to leave

Make a better group next time

fair play on the healer tbh, speaking as a tank since TBC; if you’re gonna tank, you’re gonna lead. And I don’t mean as in be the party leader, no, you are the one who goes into the danger first. if you’re gonna lead, you can’t be blind to what your teammembers are doing. The tanks job is to get them to the last boss safely and efficiently so that DPS can kill it in a timely manner, if tanks not paying attention to their party members, they are failing at tanking the way I see it.

For example; Every skip, my camera is panned backwards to make sure that if someone accidentally aggro’s, my mouse-over macro avengers shield is flying before the mobs get their first hit in.

I would blame your tank sooner then your healer.

You don’t risk your account by leaving once or twice in a night. But continuous abandonments may lead to a punishment.
