Purchased Character Transfer by accident instead of Character Race Change

Today I purchased a character realm transfer by accident instead of race change and tried to get it refunded or exchanged for a race change.

Customer support told me that “it falls outside of our refund eligibility criteria due to having a penalty applied on your account recently.”

Yes I was banned for a week before TWW launch but that was 2 months ago and I am now unbanned, why is this relevant to me accidentally making the wrong purchase?

This seems extremely unfair to me can anyone please help.

Unfortunately the folks on the forums aren’t able to intervene with disciplinary decisions - only the GMs can do that - and that requires re-opening the ticket to ask for the decision to be looked at again.

There’s no guarantee of getting a different answers but decisions are sometime overturned when a 2nd look is taken at it.
