If you can’t restore them from the ingame restore feature it means they have been removed from the database and there’s no way they are going through backups of backups to find the files for a single character.

Really? I recently had a GM restore a character I deleted back in November or December 2008 with no issues at all.

2 fun facts, the character was 47 (same as my BFs) I deleted it at the same time he did, THEY STILL HAD THE CHARACTER THERE TO RESTORE, but I didn’t. Also, there is a reddit post where someone said they got a purged low lvl character restored (2006)

Either you didn’t or the 3 months slipped up and or a bug occured and your character got wiped anyway.
Maybe just stop deleting characters in the first place? If you’re trying to circumvent the 50 character limit, just make a 2nd WoW account on your bnet.

omg really? can they go that far back? :-o i deleted a Hunter in like 2006 and i wouldn’t mind getting him back if it’s possible
I have level 40 characters that I deleted years ago and I could still restore them.

Level range was way different pre level squish.
The answer is so very obvious, don’t delete them in the first place.
If you have 50, why? You can’t play them all, delete some you never play.

If it meets the criteria for restoration as per this support article Restore World of Warcraft Character - Blizzard Support (battle.net)
then raise another ticket, reference that article and ask nicely, otherwise accept its gone and move on.
Depends on what level it was and when it was deleted, at 47 that’s 3 months, they are much stricter on Classic.
Also “Blizzard Customer Support will not assist with bypassing any of the above limitations.”
If you deleted them so that’s that.
They restored my old characters 12 years ago and i am grateful for that just that(I hadnt deleted anything) I didnt trasfer them because i had already started anew.
Next time don’t delete and complain that something went wrong.
Exactly. It’s called “delete” not store and use for later.
